The Varnashram System

The Inner Varnashram:
SHARIR (Body) is SHUDRA (The Worker).
BUDDHI (Intellect) is VAISHYA (The Businessperson).
ATMABAL (Will Power) is KSHATRIYA (The Warrior).
ATMA (Soul) is BRAMHIN (The Enlightened).
The Yoga Varnashram:
HATHA YOGA = SHUDRA = BODY (Sharir)
GYANA YOGA = VAISHYA = INTELLECT (Buddhi)
RAJ (Tapasya) YOGA = KSHTRIYA = WILL (Atmabal/Manobal)
BHAKTI YOGA = BRAMHIN = SOUL (Anand)

A purified Body produces purified intellect.
Purified Intellect generates purified Thoughts.
Purified Thoughts instigates purified Actions.
Purified Action surfaces purified Devotion.

ACTIONS:
  • In the aloneness of ownself/innerself, be a Bramhin (ब्राम्हण).
  • While performing sadhna/duties, be a Kshatriya (क्षत्रिय).
  • In dealing with the society, be a Vaishya (वैश्य).
  • While in presence/remembrance of GOD/GURU, be a Shudra (शूद्र).
